Hadden Estate began in 2017 with a dream, a shared vision, and 24 acres of pristine North Georgia land.

Jennifer and John Hadden, along with their children Madeline and Jack,  knew from the very beginning that this place would be more than just their home.

Their first labor of love was the land itself. After planting 2,600 blueberry bushes from South Georgia, the property grew into what is now Damn Good Dawgs Farm. Every June, this blueberry farm comes alive in a wash of blue as the community gathers to soak up the summer and pick fresh, sweet berries straight from the bush.

It was through welcoming families during blueberry season that a bigger idea took shape: What if this land could be shared year-round?
Inspired by the joy of hosting and the beauty of the property, Jennifer and John set out to transform Hadden Estate into a destination for celebrations. With intention and care, they designed and built the Athens wedding venue you know and love. Each space thoughtfully crafted to honor the properties natural beauty while providing a luxury experience!

Before long, Hadden Estate became known as one of North Georgia’s most sought-after luxury wedding venues, celebrated for its classic Southern charm, refined elegance, and flawless execution. It became a place where wedding days felt deeply personal and where hospitality was never an afterthought.
