How We Started DGD Farms
Our journey began in 2017 with a dream and 24 acres of pristine land. We knew this place would be more than just our home; it would become a destination for celebrations and unforgettable experiences.
We started by planting 2,600 blueberry bushes, sourced from south Georgia. Now, every summer, our U-pick blueberry farm bursts with the sweetest fruit you’ll ever taste. The joy of welcoming guests during blueberry season inspired us to share our beautiful property year-round.
From Blueberry Fields… to Dream Weddings ♡
That’s when we designed and transformed Hadden Estate into North Georgia’s most sought-after luxury wedding venue. We built a stunning reception hall, a picturesque ceremony green, and a charming covered pavilion. Our venue quickly became known for its classic Southern feel and flawless execution.
Introducing Our Newest Addition: The Winery at DGD Farms
Just minutes from the University of Georgia, our new winery at DGD Farms is a haven for Bulldog enthusiasts. Enjoy local Georgia wines and delicious charcuterie while soaking in views perfect for your social media feed. Everything about this venue was perfect! The property was absolutely beautiful, but the real hidden gems are the people! The owners Jen and John made us feel like family and we only knew them for a short amount of time. Their social media guru was the extra bridesmaid we didn’t know we needed! Our day was absolutely magical thanks to them! This venue has EVERYTHING you need as a couple, Kelly and I would have a million weddings together & each time we would choose Hadden Estate!
